Far as I can tell John Flyers Fan made no mention of elegance or effort. Merely that speed isn't the be all end all of skating.
There are turns, stopping, balance, strength, etc...
Being a fast skater means absolutely nothing if you can't turn, handle the puck, and/or get knocked over by a stiff breeze.
For this one, I like Fedorov.
