If Hainsay gets his talent together (matures), he has the desired characteristics of size, speed, and aggression. We had a guy like this at one time, Chelios. Fortunately, in the beginning Chelios grew up with some extremely quality defensemen. An matured without much of a fuss.
It takes time. Look at Ribiero, or better yet Ryder. Where would we be without these two?
They had/have potential, it just takes time.
Agreed that trading prospects for immediate help is expensive - that's a good way of looking at it.
But as Hainsey being like Chelios, I disagree. Hainsey reminds me more of ... Tom Kurvers...
