Underwent surgery to remove bone tumor in leg on January 30 and out for rest of season. Found bone tumor early in season.
2003-2004 30 games, 13 goals, 6 assists, 19 points, 56/112 PIM, -10
Has been playing excellent hockey as of late after a slow start comming back from knee surgery to remove tumor.
Coach Gadowsky says ... "We didn't have one game last season with a healthy Aaron Voros and now we have a healthy Aaron Voros. He's a killer. Take any lineup and add Aaron Voros, and you have a new dimension of grit. At the very least, every defenseman on the ice will be aware of when he's on the ice ... Great to have him back. He put on some good, legitimate weight. If people in this league thought he was scary before, they are certainly going to think he is scary now.
