All Balsillie has to do is tell Mr.Bettman he plans to keep the team in Nashville. Once the purchase goes through, it then depends on the lease with the city. And after Balsillie takes control, he can do whatever he wants. When Nissan, okay fine, Dell, wait, uh, Caterpillar decides to buy up some corporate tickets, who's to say the Predators organization will answer the phone? Then, when he ensures we do not reach 14,000, he can opt out of the lease and that would be outside the league's control.
Balsillie has no intentions of moving this team until his new arena is built.
I'm sorry, but I want to hear something other than "he told me he wants to keep the team there" from Bettman.
