Well thats a little unfair to Grier. He is not a player you can judge on stats alone. He is big, fast, physical and lays it all out on the line when on the ice. He works hard and altho he cant always finish he does positive things each shift and kills penalties well. Points are not what players like Grier bring to the table. He is a playoff type of player that I'd want on my team if I were a contender.

The Caps really like the guy so I doubt they trade him for anything less than what they got for him (a 2nd and a 3rd??).

They dont need to dump salary anymore and its not like he breaks the bank anyhow at 1.5 million.
