A blockbuster is a blockbuster, something big. See definition below, from Merriam-webster online dictionnary:

Main Entry: block∑bust∑er
Pronunciation: 'blšk-"b&s-t&r
Function: noun
1 : a very large high-explosive bomb
2 : one that is notably effective, successful, large, or violent

So, if Molson Man is correct, something very big could

I do not want to get into the "Molson man is legit or not" debate, which has kept another Board busy for months.

For one, I believe he is legitimate, he called the Savard resignation AND Gainey hiring a month before anyone else, at a time when it was not on the agenda and atotal surprise to everyone.

I also think, however, that you are right that there is no more than a 50-50 shot that a blockbuster will happen.

After all, the team is playing quite well and more and more assured to make the playoffs, so it is risky (and unlike Gainey) to tinker with its chemestry.

So, if it does happen, it would have to be something that improves the team significantly or significantly alters its "small up front" reality which has been its main problem for the past 5-10 years and which everybody knows about.
