Defense isn't really a strength in this years draft {it's the opposite of last years}.
At #5 I still think I'd go with Schremp over Ladd (and I like Ladd's game also...). Schremp reminds me SO much of Jeremy Roenick in every way of his game. I see a near exact clone in him and I think that might be too much to pass up.

Yeah, he has an attitude problem. But he also wants to WIN. He got off that **** team to win. I don't know about anyone else, but I kinda like that.

If we got a pick down near 20, hell, maybe Card slides down there (he has a lot of talent despite how he has been playing less than his level this year). I think I'd take a flyer on him (he might, however, still be around with our 2nd round pick).

Rostislav Olesz would be good in our area also. Same with Lauri Tukonen (though he scares me and reminds me a bit of Miika Elomo a bit too much...).
