he's the third leading scorer on that team this season, even tallying more than Modano and Lehtinen. If you're a playoff team that's looking for that extra something to put you into the next round, you don't get rid of one of your top scorers for a defenseman, even if it is Leetch. You look to trade a prospect, pick and/or a young, promising player that's not making a huge impact as of yet. Losing Morrow and gaining Leetch doesn't get this team another round, in my opinion. They'd want Morrow AND Leetch. If not that, keep Morrow and trade for a guy like Sean Hill, who'd cost a lot less and improve you a bit, and overall, likely better with Morrow+Hill than just Leetch.
