Re-inventing the past doesn't make your argument stronger.

Kondratiev's ability to 'stick' with the baby Leafs had zero to do with going back to Russia. He had a clause in his contract that said if he didn't make Toronto, he could elect to play back home instead of in St. Johns.

His calibre of play had nothing to do with his leaving.

As for Immonen not 'making his way out of Europe' what is that even supposed to mean?
