Thanks for the site though, I love having more sites to visit during the off season and accurate info when it comes to you team. Kinda helps getting to the puck dropping for preseason.

2-way contracts count right now for the proportion of days the player was up during the previous season; last season was 187 days long - if a guy on a 2-way contract was up for 43 days, he counts 43/187 of his Averaged Salary from July 1 to the end of training camp. So in that respect, no - nhlnumbers is
not correct. That's what you'll see on the "Team Numbers" page on my site - where everyone stands
right now.
However ... I've made a slight adjustment and taken a rough guess at the 23-man roster, leaving spaces open either for guys headed for arbitration or where I'm not sure how the last couple of spots will fill out. That's what you'll see on each team's cap numbers page - the estimate of where everyone will be on Opening Night.
And admittedly ... unless you're looking at a set of numbers that come straight from the NHL (which I've never had ... but had something close to it once), everyone's numbers on where teams are wrt to the cap is an estimate, I don't care what they say. I've never even said
my numbers were 100% accurate - I've
always said they're an estimate.
