Forget about about Andrew Cassels. He's not the kind of player that you want around, if the objective is to qualify for the playoffs and then advance.

As for the Sabres, forget J.P. Dumont & Maxim Afinogenov. Neither wouldn fit in with the system. Dumont is way too streaky, and Afinogenov is creative but also pretty one-dimensional. It boggles the imagination why so many Flames fans keep posting about Dumont.

Miro Satan is a dangerous sniper, and would be just the right man to ignite the offense. Taylor Pyatt would be fine, but he'd be somebody more for the future. The Sabres have an abysmal track record at developing power forwards (i.e. Brad May, Wayne Primeau & Eric Rasmussen). A change of scenary might eventually be needed for him to realize his full potential.

Satan for Gauthier? Without a second thought.
