He will not get a #1 for DeVries/Rucinsky unless a team gets very desperate. I would not discount your theory however in one regard - the Rangers will make a run at the #1 this season. Pittsburgh simply cannot afford to pay the bonus that Ovechkin needs. The key is how to beat out the other top four teams to get that pick. Washington will be gunning for it and also has some good picks and real good prospects to offer.
