Drafting Ovechkin costs them nothing
at the current time,
thus he is not a financial burden. He may or may not turn into a burden depending on the new CBA, but the Pens will worry about that time when it comes. They most certainly won't trade the pick that will land Ovechkin
they find out if they will be able to afford him in the world of the new CBA.
