Predators License Plate Approved - Deposits Being Taken

E-Mail from the team today:

Quote:
Attention all Nashville Predators supporters:

The Tennessee State Legislature recently passed a bill allowing a Nashville Predators specialty license plate, with proceeds benefiting the Nashville Predators Foundation.

Tomorrow, Thursday July 19th, we will begin collection the mandatory 1,000 deposits before the Tennessee Department of Transportation will produce and make these specialty plates available.

The deposits are $35.00 for each vehicle you wish to tag using a Predators-branded plate.

After the Predators Foundation has collected 1,000 deposits, all moneys will be deposited with the Tennessee Department of Revenue, Vehicle Services Division, along with our artwork. After the production of the tags, you will be contacted directly by the Vehicle Services Division with further instructions on how to trade in your current tag for your Predators-branded license plate.

Each license plate requires a $35 check made payable to the Nashville Predators. Again, all proceeds from these license plates benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation.

With each deposit, proof of vehicle registration must be provided in one of two ways:

1.) a copy of your current registration
or
2.) your current license plate number

If you wish to submit a deposit, please link to the following form, print it out and provide the required information, then include your $35.00 deposit (payable by check or money order) and send it to the address included or bring it to the OUR TEAM ticket drive and rally tomorrow at the Sommet Center. We will have tables on the concourse to collect deposits from 11 AM until 1 PM and from 4 PM until 7 PM.

Please note:

License plate design subject to change and/or approval by the Tennessee Department of Revenue, Vehicle Services Division. Tag numbers will be assigned in random order. Vanity plates will be available in the future directly through the Tennessee Department of Revenue, Vehicle Services Division, through your county of residence. The $35.00 specialty charge is in addition to the normal fee you pay to receive your annual vehicle tag.

Can't wait to put one on my car!!!
