Perreault - Now or Never

I feel Perreault is now playing his best hockey of the year and just in the nic of time.

With the acquisition of Jim Dowd, I think Perreault's days as a HAB are now counted.

I would attempt the following trade:

Ottawa

Sean Hill
Yannick Perreault

Carolina

Marcel Hossa
Ottawa's 1st

HABS

O'Neill

Here is the basis:

Ottawa

Needs more depth at D for the playoff run. They also need a face off specialist such as Perreault for the playoffs. I think there best faceoff man is around 30th to 40th in the league.

Carolina

They have been shoping O'Neill and that is known. I ear they might be looking for Montreal's 1st. That is to valuable and to hefty a price to pay for the HABS but Ottawa, on the other hand could be willing to deal there 1st pick.

HABS

They are looking for a rugged forward. Someone who could score. They do not want to sacrifice anyone of value on the current roster but are willing to sacrifice prospect if the return is right.

What do you think?
