if he does you recommend him getting it in a meaningless exhibition tournament?

He'll get his international experiance in the WJC..A tournament that means something..

Cherepanov should be preparing for his season with Omsk....Against competition that will make him a better player...
I don't see how this is such a bad thing, just so long as he doesn't get injured. If he has a bad tournament so what, nobody with any brains would write him off because of that. As far as I know he's never played in North America before so why not?
