Don't get me wrong, I think Prucha is a great player, but he isn't a complete player. Hossa is much more defensively responsible than Prucha, and when you are on a line with Jagr, it is good to have players that can play both ways. Otherwise you get what happened at the end of Game 5, when Jags and Nyls were on the ice.

Other than Jagr, there is no player on the Rangers who can control a puck down low like Hossa does. He must have drawn 15 penalties alone just from someone hanging on his back trying to get the puck.
He might not have scored a goal, but he had assists,, and provided much needed hard work along the boards and in the corners. I thought he had a very good stint with the Rangers.
