Avs/Sabres Deadline Proposal

Satan + McKee/Tallinder for Morris + pick/prospect

What is the Avs' take on this or similar scenarios??

IMHO, Satan wouldn't be a good fit on an Avs team...he doesn't seem to be a good team player...I'd rather have someone like Grier or Carter.

I think people around here really like Curtis Brown.

How about Sellane for Satan, straight up? I mean, Selanne is paid more and produces less, but his contract ends after the season, while Satan's runs longer. We throw in a pic or lesser prospect, maybe, to give them someting for the future.

The whole concept of being a seller is to dump UFA's at the deadline. It doesn't make sense for Buffalo to take on Selanne when they are giving up a player who I beleive is a RFA or even if he is a UFA he still has more value than Selanne. The Avs would need to throw in a decent-good prospect in addition to Selanne and that begs the question why even trade him, when you are getting esetially the same player in return for a prospect.
