Ok... well here's a novel idea. Your having a bachelor party so you know everyone's going to be WASTED. You plan ahead on how you intend to get home. We've all gone out, and had a few too many drinks and had to find a mode of transportation, but if you going to a bachelor party, then you know you aren't driving. Again... they were out having a good time, and got carried away. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it happens again next week, then maybe there is a problem.
And as for that drunk tank... it's a nice idea and all, but I'm not familiar with anyplace in the US that has that. In order to be taken into custody, you have to be arrested. The only way I can think of around that is to toss them in a cell for the night, and give them an appearance ticket. Again... not something that really happens around here, but up there it's an option... if you really want a loud drunk A-hole in the Stationhouse.
Oh I agree, I am sure there where some sober drivers there but how many trips would it take to transport 20 males? They rented room so that they did not have to drive and some people obviously did not care to listen to the warnings and where kicked out, fine and dandy. But was it really fair if they did wake up people and toss them out as well?
Like you said nothing to worry about just some fun night that went bad, in a few months everyone will have forgotten it happened
