God news if that is true. My guy only has 1 Ranger jersey left. I'm getting it from Ontario lol.

Overall I think they look nice. It wont be as noticeable that the text has more of an angle when the player wear them. But I think it's stupid to not allow alternate jerseys. A white liberty jersey would be really nice.
The cuffs at the end of the jersey were there on the older jersey too.

I believe him, since he's the jersey supplier for the Blackhawks.

They look terrible at first look.

They should model it on a mannequin or a player in pads and not flat like that. those are horrible debut pictures.

The thing I really dont like about it is that fans who wear them dont wear equipment to the arena the last time i checked so everyone thats wearing these new jersey's will stick out like a sore (stretched) thumb.

I'm glad I got me an authentic 2 years ago.

Very happy it has remained "traditional" though so im not overly disappointed.

But i think they WILL stretch out. I dont think they would be that dumb designing it. The material in the chest area opens up easily so i think its gonna look ok.

IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME AS IT WAS WITH THE OLD JERSEYS! Seriously it seems most of you guys say their terrible just for the sake of saying it. There very similar to the old ones, slightly tighter, in my opinion a nicer looking jersey. Yes the RANGERS is more vertical and smaller, is it really that big of deal? Throw some numbers on the shoulders and your not going to notice the off-centerness which it really isn't it just appears that way. Wait for them to get onto the ice anyways before you start having a fit like a bunch of girls. This isn't a freakin fashion show. And I guarantee that most of you will be loving the new jerseys in a few months and have one for yourself no doubt.

Looks like my old Rangers jersey when I was a kid. Just saved $200 bucks.

I disagree. It is very noticeable. I was very open-minded about this, but when I saw the jersey I couldn't help but notice it.

I'll bet you whatever you can afford that I will not buy one of these. Assuming these pics are acurate.

The RANGERS might be noticebale to some people (Yet you still haven't seen it on the ice and with numbers on the shoulder which will make it look better I think), but I was more referring to him saying the road jersey had the red and blue lines to close together, even though that is exactly how it was last year and the year before that and the year before that.

Maybe you won't but I will bet all that I can afford that the majority of people criticizing the jerseys on here will have one in a few months. And also you say "Assuming these pics are accurate" which further proves my point of how you are all basing this on a crappy pic taken from angle you will never look at the jerseys at, with no numbers on them, and yet they have already been dismissed as junk.

There was a little more white in the stripes in years past. You may be right in that it may look better over equipment in that the jersey may be designed to stretch. However, I do not go to games in full hockey equipment. I'm not buying one and anyone who does is a fool.

Looks like the same amount of white in between to me? Anyways it doesn't matter your opinion is that they suck, which is fine, a little too early to tell I think, but thats just me. They look fine to me and I personally really like the actual EDGE jerseys cut and the mesh and all that.

Not sure why the 1st image came out so big.

The lettering is narrower, other than that they look pretty the same. I could nitpick, but overall, I've got no complaints. The blue cuffs are icky, but that's an easy thing to fix. Nitpicking.

I'll wait 'til I see 'em on the ice before I decide to get irate.

the rangers is closer/norrower but what ever it still traditional the 1 thing that dosent strike my fancy is the new NHL logo by the ties. i think it would look 100% better (espesially on the blues) to have a blue background instead of red, just sticks out like a sore thumb 2 me.

dont forget that the jersey's are supposed to be tight and form fitting, so the letters will probably spread out a little on the player with equipment on, and look like it should.

Overall as I look at it, it almost exactly the same as last year's jersey with the exception of the new material, the modified collar and the team name positioning on the front.

My only complaint is the positioning of the "RANGERS" across the front as many Rangers fans have expressed. I don't like it being off center though (I prefer what we see on last year's that Scott Gomez and Chris Drury wore in that photo). However, I will not pass 100% judgment until I see a player wear the new RBK jerseys.

However, we shouldn't complain too much as the traditional look remains intact. I am a big fan of the alternate logo and jerseys (minus that ugly jazzed up logo on the shoulders), but the Rangers maintaining their long-time design had to be kept. That's what I'm grateful for. I don't like Pittsburgh a long time ago copying the diagonal team nameplate across the front (same font, no less) as has the Colorado Avalanche with their current alternate (different font).

On first glance the new blue shirt looks likes the womens style blue shirt from 2 years ago.
