That would be even cooler at a Nucks game

Exactly. If you're with your family, you'll be fine.

I was at the Flyers/Red Wing game last year (the one when Primeau retired officially) and held the door for a guy wearing a Red Wings Jersey. As I did, I said -"Eh. I guess I'll let you in" and laughed.

We talked for a couple minutes, and he said he was really surprised. He had been really nervous wearing his jersey, but so far, the fans he had met were very friendly.

I think it comes down to this, if you're low-key and respectful that you are a GUEST, you won't have any problems. Flyer fans LOVE hockey, and there's some level of respect to other hockey loving fans. However, act like a cocky a-hole, and all bets are off.

"Marc-Andre Fleury!" "O-VER-RA-TED! O-VER-RA-TED! O-VER-RA-TED!" "That isn't very nice." "But he IS overrated. . ."

I got my "I HAD A THREESOME WITH THE SEDIN SISTERS" sign taken away half an hour BEFORE the game when the Nucks came to visit Philly.

I hear that a lot, about how tough it is for teams to come and play in Philly.

Then I remember it's been two and a half decades since one of our teams won a championship, and I get the feeling that the "tough place to play" thing is nonsense.

I think you'll be ok because we don't hate your team.

Agreed. It seems like the fans talk the talk but the team's can't walk the walk.
