How come I'm not allowed to vote in this board's polls?

You probably don't have enough posts. I think you need like 15 or 20..or maybe a little more.

I went with Beller and Reese. Not too impressed with most of the ECHL guys--the best of them would be Graham. Bahensky, Holt, Pikkarainen--kind of yuk. Hagelin's intriguing but I know too little about him. Skokan and Zeliska are definitely long shots who need a big season this year. Reese got a nice critique from Schoeny in the BB after the season was over. Beller was at the development camp and apparently according to what I've heard played well. That's why I went with those two.

OK, I've held my peace in other polls when people started ripping him, but Graham has to have a place in the Top 30.

First, throw out his first year. IIRC he was the youngest player in the AHL and ECHL, but besides that, he was hit hardest by that unspecified viral infection that hit several Pack players. He missed two months and lost 25 pounds, and even after he came back he had very little strength and no jump in his skating. A lost year.

33 goals in 65 games this year in Charlotte (better than he ever did in juniors) and going to the net much more. He's a whole six months older than wunderkind Mike Busto and is long-term project due to his size. Way too early to write him off

First poll I'm dropping by...

surprised to see Potter behind Jessiman - to me, I'm confident Potter will be an NHLer - not sure that Jessiman's there yet.

Great work as usual, FLY...

I thought Potter was really low as well. I saw him play so much this year and was really impressed at how quickly he started playing so well.

Anyways, voted for Graham and Bahensky simply for the fact that they're the only two I know aside from Hannu Pickyouranus and Chris Holt. And Chris Holt sucks. Oh right and Reese.

Skokan.

Apparently he was considered top 2 round potential, its his work rate that needs attention. If they can address that then maybe we have a sleeper on our hands. At this fardown the org. depth we can afford to vote for a sleeper or two!!!

Yes, Skokan was rated 14 among NA skaters by CSS in their midterm rankings. He has a lot of talent, apparently.

I also voted Hannu.

Why Bruce Graham? He has nothing but size, he's a solid ECHL player, and may turn into a solid AHL player. I don't see much else there.

EDIT: I'd change half of my vote with the news that Hannu is going back to Finland. He's talented sure, but it's hard to really consider him part of our organization at this point.
