Not an e5. What gives? Bad luck with too many of your e5's?

I'm hoping it's Warrener + 4th for a 3rd. I really don't see the point in this, if Chicago wanted Warrener why not just include him in the Aucoin trade instead of Zyuzin? ANyway if this goes down and a defenceman is not going the other way then Chicago are going to need to make another trade.

Chicago and Calgary just exchanging trash with each other.

You guys will love his leadership and attitude, but will see a broken man who cannot play hockey anymore.

With that being said I hope you guys take him off out hands he is down right horriable in the 'new' NHL, slow, cant shoot, cant clear, and makes bone head plays every time he is on the ice.

In 2004 he was a warrior for us however, but on HF it's what have you done lately that counts.

yes and no.
Rhett lacks the skill set that Aucoin has.
but both are similar in many ways, leadership, size...etc
Aucoin is better IMO, but only because he can move the puck, Rhett can hardly move himself sometimes.
I hope this is true this might be good for Warnner.

I'd agree with this except that Warrener brings a physical game that Aucoin doesn't bring.

The problem was that Warrener was/is dealing with some career inhibiting injuries. There was actually a lot of talk about Warrener taking a full year off next season to recover (which prompted Darryl Sutter to sign Anders Eriksson).

Recently, Warrener skated with the prospects at the developmental camp and he has been physically cleared. If Chicago did want Warrener at the time the Aucoin deal was made, then it is likely that they wanted to wait and see if he would even be able to play.

Warrener is a fan favourite in Calgary, and would be missed, but his value to the team has been lowered. But from what I understand, both the flames and Hawks have too many NHL defensemen right now, so I don't see how the deal works for the Hawks.

I agree as well to some extent, but he has not shown it since the Fedork hit in 2005-2006 playoffs, but ya he is more physical I do agree.

According to him Chicago traded the #1 pick in June and now traded for Warrener.

Apparently the BlackHawks disagree, and I tend to believe team GM's over anything Eklund ever says.
