St. Lawrence University Hockey

I was wondering if anybody else here likes SLU Men's hockey. I try to go to all the games and they are my favorite team ever and have been watching them for years.

I do. Unfortunately I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. Always love catching the annual grudge match wiith Clarkson. Bummer that they got knocked out of the NCAA Tournament by BC.

BTW, welcome aboard! Nice to see a Saints fan around these parts.

I try to go to every home game as I possibly can. I love watching the game with Clarkson!"The route 11 rivalry" lol. it sucks that they lost both times this year to them, and hopefully they will win next year. I wish they could have went farther in the tournament but they played awesome this year. Hopefully we have just as good a season next year!

It's one of the most underrated programs in the country.

I recently met an SLU alum who works in the ECHL as a radio announcer. It's pretty neat that the Saints are putting out more than just players.

The prices are $4 for SLU students and the high school students that are in Canton. Then the rest are $6 and $10.

They haven't done all that much lately, other than the Morris scandal.

Actually, they're the reigning ECACHL Tournament Champions, winning that league's auto-bid, and along with their North Country counterparts, SLU, were the only teams from that league that made it into the NCAA Tournament this past season.

Need a reminder?

Head to Head,
12/5/06 CU 3 SLU 1
01/23/07 CU 6 SLU 2

Overall,
CU 25-9-5
SLU 23-14-2

I think that's lately enough.

NCAA Appearances? Frozen Four appearances? In the last ten years, anyone?

Percentage of female students?

Go back to your trailer home on the outskirts of Massena.

Or how about these comparisons:

Alumni in the Hockey Hall of Fame?

Percentage of hockey players who graduate in four years?

Get real, none of that matters, Clarkson rules the North Country at the moment. Until this October you can kiss my ass!

For all you Saints fans out there that didn't hear about it...

Defenseman Tom Bardis has decided to leave Canton for the greener (or should I say Cardinal-er) pastures of Madison. Yep, he's going to be a Badger. He'll suit up for UW beginning next fall.

In case you all were wondering, Bardis played in 12 games for SLU this past season and posted four points on two goals and two assists.
