Groin Question

Today during my roller hockey game i was back-checking and i felt a pop in my right groin i figured i pulled it, but i kept playing and after 5 minutes the pain was gone, then it happened again, i kept playing and it went away then it happend a 3rd time and the same thing happend it went away, it fells like a pop of the bone not a pull or tear, does anybody know what it could be.

I suggest you consult someone in the medical field as opposed to hockey forums.

I don't know anybody in the medical field, and somebody might have the same thing

there are several different causes for the pop and pain you describe. The most significant would be each POP being a small tear in the adductor.It would be a quick popping on a sudden start, stop or extension. Its not unusual for this to happen to hockey players. IF this is the case it is very easy to continue play, each session compounding the problem.

Once you figure out what the problem is (seriously, consult a medical professional), but to prevent any further injuries, you might want to invest in some CoreShorts. They are very popular among the pros, and offer a great deal of protection for any type of groin injury. http://www.coretection.com/ is their website, and I have seen quite a few people using them and have heard some rave reviews.
