TV Schedule for upcoming season?! Versus?

Just wondering when the TV schedule is released for the upcoming NHL season for Versus and NBC. This is extremely important to me because I'm a NYR fan who lives in New Jersey who goes to school in Flyer country.

If you guys can help me out that'd be great.

i just hope TWC gets their crap together and adds the Golf/VS HD channel to the NYC lineup by October.

You'll get all eight of the NYR/PHI tilts on Comcast Sportsnet or whatever that channel is called now, unless they are being shown on NBC. VS may black out Comcast Sportsnet too.

Don't worry, check the GDTs every game. There's almost always someone posting where the game can be found online.

Here's the NBC schedule:

NEW YORK – August 15, 2007 – The NBC NHL "Game of the Week" drops the puck on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008 with either the Boston Bruins at New York Rangers or the Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks at the Dallas Stars as NBC enters its third season as the network broadcast partner of the NHL with a new innovation: the NHL will offer flexible scheduling for NBC's nine regular season dates (see below schedule).

NBC will be able to select from up to four games on Sunday afternoons. Thirteen days prior to the scheduled games (on Mondays), NBC, in conjunction with the NHL, will select one of those games as the "Game of the Week" to be broadcast during the NBC window. The other games will remain available to the teams' regional carrier but will not be televised during NBC's broadcast window.

Next season, all NBC regular season games will be broadcast on Sundays for the first time and all games will be presented in high definition. NBC will broadcast postseason games on select Saturdays and Sundays, and Games 3-7 of the Stanley Cup Final in primetime.

Potential schedule highlights include: the NBC "NHL Game of the Week" making its first regular season visit north of the border as the Montreal Canadiens host the New York Rangers on Feb. 3; the Ducks traveling to "Hockeytown" to meet the Detroit Red Wings on Feb. 10; and Sidney Crosby (the NHL's youngest MVP since Wayne Gretzky) and the Pittsburgh Penguins dueling conference rivals the Rangers, who added Scott Gomez and Chris Drury (both former Stanley Cup champions) in the off season, on March 30. Teams are permitted up to four appearances in the NBC NHL "Game of the Week."

Actually, NBC can only televise the Rangers 4 times. So they'll have to pick and choose which matchups they want.

Last year VS covered 6 home games and 1 away for the Rangers - this year its only 3 home and 5 away so theyll be a few more trivia questions this year for Al.

NHL. From the last sentence of the article I posted above:

"Teams are permitted up to four appearances in the NBC NHL "Game of the Week.""

How sweet would it be if we got the NHL Network?

"NHL Network will air 40 live NHL games during the 2007-08 regular season, including a “Game-of-the-Week” match-up and the popular “Fan Favorite” game, giving viewers a choice of which games they want to watch. In addition, NHL Network will televise 12 pre-season games, while the network’s signature show, “NHL On The Fly,” returns nightly from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, giving hockey fans live look-ins on NHL games across the league."

I'd watch every night.

i would gladly pay out the ass for something like that....

center ice is nice.. but no MSG out here really sucks.... and i have to watch the home teams feed... at least with Dish I could choose which one I wanted which was awesome....
