Not taking injuries into consideration, I'd say Stempniak narrowly. If you were asking who I'd rather have on my team (thus, asking me to take injuries into consideration), Stempniak would be one of the easier choices I've seen in a poll for a while.

Stempniak, which is a tough choice because apparently Tim Connolly is the best player in the history of hockey.

I think Connolly is one of the most skilled player...he's got some awesome hands! We don't consider injury, so i take Connolly

For me easy one! Connoly has so much talent! I remember him play with Isl and Ziggy Palffy! I remember saying that he will break 80pts so easily! Unfortunately, he was injured most part of his career! Stempniak is a good to ok 2nd line player!

Stempniak is a good 2nd liner on the verge of being a star.

Just two, eh?

Tim Connolly vs. Joe Thornton (Januaray 23, 2007)
Tim Connolly, best player in the world? Yes, IMHO (September 3, 2006)

So know your role and shut your mouth!

Leaving injuries out I would take Connoly although Stepniak is going to be a very good player as well and if you include the current situation Stepniak runs away with this.

By the way, Tim Connolly.

If we count injuries, Stempniak just beats him out, but without, connolly would of been a star.

Stempniak by a hair. If Connolly could keep his head up for more than a few seconds, this wouldn't even be a contest

Stempniak, I see him being 30+30 minimum for the next decade.
