Parise v.s E.Staal

Both had breakout sophmore years in the NHL and can be future captains.

I'm a Devils fan and I love Parise. I think he very well could wind up a better overall player than Staal and a fuiture captain.

But seriously, it wasn't very hard for me to pick Staal.

Staal pretty handily, although Parise can definitely put up 90+ points as he develops more. But as of right now, this is an insult to Staal

Parise is a tremendous player, who is only going to get better. However, I would pick Eric Staal every time.

Careful. He's only had 1 great season so far. I fully expect him to bounce back but it's way way too early to throw around terms like that.

Now this thread is just being mean to Staal. Whenever I hear Parise I think Horton, and I know damn well Staal is much better than Horton.

No, he is a legend. Right here, right now. Some just can't grasp it, unlike me and brownman.

Is this poll a joke? I like parise, but anyone who wouldn't take E.stall is crazy. He is everything parise is, but bigger and a little better. They both are and will be great players, but they are in E.staal is more talented now and will be better throughout his career.

Parise is my fav. player right now, but I gotta go with Staal here. However, some people are making it like it's the same as comparing Janssen to Crosby. Parise has the potential to be a superstar. Offensively, 90+ point seasons aren't out of the question. Offensively he's not worlds apart from Staal. While Staal does bring size and all that comes along with that, Parise lead the devils in hits and the league in goals during the playoffs, till the devs were eliminated.

Again, Staal is and will probably be the better player, but Parise won't be far behind.

Staal's "off year" had more points than Parise's "breakout year".

Right, because it's so easy to tell from the 4 words that were written there.

I think a more interesting, closer poll would have been Parise vs. a different Staal (any of them).
