Tapered shaft/blade

I've been playing with a one90 two piece over the summer but it really doesn't have the release I was looking for. I want to stay with two piece sticks mostly due to cost. I was hoping some of you guys might have something good to say about a tapered shaft and blade. Right now I'm looking at the xxx-lite and rbk 7k as they seem to be the cheapest high end shafts out there, but I know people have had durability issues with the xxx-lite ops.

I've stuck with my Synergy ST so long now, so i can't comment much from personal experience. All I can say here is that I too hear, and see the XXX lite break all too often. Then again, I also saw a guy order 12 of them at once all for himself. It's a love hate relationship with that stick I suppose.

The durability issue with the Vapor xxx-lite OPS was said to be addressed. It didn't stop me from buying the Vapor xxx-lite shaft. I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on it's performance or durability.

I have a few Warrior OPS's which I like but I am sick of buying sticks and finding out I don't like the curve or the lie is wrong for me. Least this way all I have to do is replace the blade and I can get cheapo wood blades until I get the right pattern and lie.

Never been a fan of RBK sticks or shafts. Think it's the shaft shape. Just never felt comfortable in my hands.

I use the xxx-lite shafts (2 of 'em), they're pretty good. Not as good as my old Mission Pro stocks, god rest their souls, but they are as good as any retail shafts IMO.

Yeah I thought the NBH versions of the XXX-lite were much improved with the durability.

I personally liked how the 7K felt in m hands, but it's gonna be a tad more hefty than your XXX-lite.

I would try to sway you towards standard shafts cause they are most cost effective and easiest to find blades, etc. But your one90 comments kinda ended that.
