I wonder why he would sign there. To me, there is nothing intriguing at all about Columbus at the moment. Not really sure why Columbus would sign him either, maybe as a leader by example kind of deal.

Columbus just lost Svitov, so they needed someone to step in and fill his spot. I don't think his contract is for very much, and he can add some good leadship qualities and solid play if he's healthy.

Has anyone bashed Gainey in this thread yet? Or accused anyone of racism?

If so, just say I did and that way I don't have to actually do it. But I'm sure someone already has, but just covering all the bases.

I don't see Peca helping the Jackets in any way, and I predict an injury that would take him out for a big part of the season. He has nothing going for him this late in his careear.
