Robidas

When are we going to dump him? $1.5 million is too much money for a guy whose max career potential is a #6 defenseman, and in reality he should be our #7 or #8 guy. We have no real need for him, and I'm sure they are plenty of teams lacking on the blueline that would take him off our hands for a late round pick.

you know, I think the Dallas Stars personel are alot higher on this guy then we are. Hes probably a pretty easy guy to like considering the effort he gives every time out and his gritty style of play... but Yeah, Ideally he would be the guy we moved out - with Norstrom and Boucher also being possibilities.

There's some teams that would take him as there #5 or #6 and considering some of the contracts during FA, shouldn't be that hard to deal him.
Not to mention some teams will have injury problems in the pre-season.

I always get pissed of by watching robidas, every time in the own zone he gets checked by big forwards and he falls like a ragdoll.

I think that we can all agree that Dallas knows defense. It has been one of the most successful defensive teams over the past decade. The team is probably first overall in GAA in the past ten years.

A player doesn't simply get appointed to be a starting six d-man on a Stars team, it is earned.

This is Rubadub's second stint with the Stars, so clearly he's got what it takes.

If someone better comes along before Robidas retires, he'll be another team's number 3 or 4, but if it ain't broke...
