Alexandre Daigle -- question

Is Daigle playing with Davos? If so, how is he doing? Not having any luck finding numbers.
Many thanks.

Yeah he is playing for Davos. So far he has 15 points (9 goals and 6 assists) in 13 games.

In the first games he looked like the promised lazy posterboy sissy-player, but now he works hard also for the team. He's no superstar in the Swiss League, but plays decent.

I guess coach Arno del Curto did again his magic on so-called "problem-players". He made also Joe Thornton work harder in the playoffs, and for every Michel Riesen bashers, he plays aggressive and checks! Ok, it's only this season, but still, no one would have thought Riesen would ever do more than scoring goals.

I think Alexandre Daigle has now a contract for 3 seasons in Davos. At the moment (January 22nd) he is the best scorer of the NLA with 52 points (Simon Gamache has 53 points).

Cheers

He has a good contract with Davos, and he's very happy with the coach Del Curto. He has fun playing in Switzerland and i think he even doesn't look elsewhere.

Because he can "cruise" in that league, while in the NHL he actually has to work.
