No
he was just a prospect camp tryout....not signed (yet), but they'll also take him to the Traverse City Rookie Tournament. (btw, David Stich too)

Walzy-don't you think either Doyle or Stitch could be signed after taking no d prospects in the draft. ISS I think had both in the top 100. I heard Doyle looked poor in camp despite a decent rankings. Stitch is very intriguing as well. Do not know the other tryout guys on d. Also heard much on Blanchard who they are bringing to Traverse. Given only the 2 college goalies and Stephan could he be signed

Dunno. I haven't seen any of them yet. As you said, seems like Doyle had a pretty weak prospect camp (with skating issues ?) and Stich had a injury at the end of the season (what scared away some teams at the draft) and then wasn't at the prospect camp because he was injured again.

For the goalies, i'm not sure they'd be really upgrades over Bachman

Blanchard likely will be back in the QMJHL this season. Idaho still needs a goalie, Iowa already has Stephan/Silvethorn.

Skating is not an issue for Doyle that's for sure....
If it's issues, its either his work ethic, decisions with the puck or pinches from the point.
