certainly wasn't the case last year.. at the very least debatable
jagr will also be making that for next year as well when we pick up the option.

marian isnt a bargain at 7 mil when we have potentially 20 million already locked up in drury gomez and soon henrik

caps are off the hook after this season.. if his option is picked up, rangers are responsible for all of it.

and having 20 mil locked up in drury, gomez and henrik has absolutely NOTHING to do with marian's fair market value.. if he's worth 9 mil given other contracts in the league, for example gomez AND drury, then he's a bargain at 7 mil.

the only thing i'll point out is you can't fairly compare the season hossa had to jagr from last season because jagr's shoulder was screwed up all season long until about march/april.
