Just wow. I can't even think of a credible response to this. He looks so doping. An action shot would be nice.
Maybe this has something to do with them not wanting to show off equipment yet

Wow, you're not kidding. That shot makes him look like he's had a lobotomy.

He's wearing the RBK practice jersey I believe. They're not spoiling anything.

I'm talking about taking the good with the bad. Everyone knows he flops, but his point production just might be worth it. I'm willing to wait and see.

Most players dive at least one point in their career, some more than others, and his name is Peter Forsberg.

I don't care what he's done before, when he wears the logo that I support I expect him to act with some ****ing dignity.

You Flyers fan are awesome. You hated Briere before and a lot of you still strongly dislike him even though he's on your team.

If we suddenly let him into our homer-zone we'd be called hypocrites

There may come a day where I like the guy, but today ain't that day. That being said, I fully expect him to produce a ton.

**** you. I do what I want. More specifically, I like who I want, and Briere isn't one of them. Smith is my cup of coffee, though.

It's not so much hate for me. I'd just like to see him pull his weight on this team before I start to give him any new credit.

i like briere, but i think he's going to need to earn any favor in this town. i'd expect no less from a town that is known to eat its athletes alive.

i expect him to impress. hopefully

I agree that a lot of people hate Briere on this board. I love watching him play. He's a great quick player and one of the best in the league. I loved watching him play on the Sabres, just sucked that he was against us.

Thing is, I love a lot of the players on the Sabres, but I hate the team of the Sabres so much.(probably more than any other team truthfully. In fact all of Buffalo. Watching the Scott Norwood kick makes me laugh so much. Like I've said, every time a Buffalo fan is upset their team got eliminated, an angel gets its wings.

And the fact that he's here is great, which I think gets by people. People, he STABBED BUFFALO IN THE BACK hardcore. Buffalo wanted Drury or Briere, and they got neither. Remember that.

Kids are the best, Apu. You can teach them to hate the things you hate. And they practically raise themselves, what with the Internet and all.

i think Briere is doing a great job with press and stuff i never knew he had a personality[/QUOTE]

He has an awesome personality and is great with the press. That is one of the reasons why he was a fan favorite here in Buffalo.

I personally loved Briere even before Philly was a possible destination, I won't tell anyone else how to feel on the board but I don't believe the general consensus is that Flyer fans hate the guy, he's going to get a huge roar from the crowd when his name is called opening day.

With that said, he still has to prove to me that he is the right fit for this team, I'm worried he may not be.

Enough stories about Briére, angry Habs boss Boivin says

http://www.canada.com/topics/sports/...b9e9fd&k=25454

Canadiens president Pierre Boivin angrily denied there was any truth to a La Presse story that suggested free- agent Daniel Brière turned down an offer from the Canadiens because general manager Bob Gainey would not guarantee that he would play on a line with Christopher Higgins and Michael Ryder.

"I was privy to the negotiations and I can tell you that this was never discussed," said Boivin, who said the story was filled with "lies."

Brière's agent, Pat Brisson, also took exception with the story, telling radio station CKAC that the Canadiens made Brière an exceptional offer, but there was never any discussion about his role with the team.

I'm not sure if the names are listed in terms of sales but Briere's jersey may be the hot item and I'm assuming Pizzapie isn't solely responsible:
