Garon's #32 to be retired.

From tsn.ca..

"Back-up goaltender Mathieu Garon was due in Victoriaville, Que., on Sunday night, where his former junior team, the Tigres, were to retire his No. 32 jersey. ``They retire your number and it makes you feel old,'' the 26-year-old Garon said with a laugh. He wears No. 30 in the NHL."

Good to see this.

He's a great backup, but I'm not sure about retiring his #??

lol

I was there for Shelley's number being retired, great night.

I'll always remember when Jody played in Halifax. Ever time he fought, they'd play Raise a Little Hell

I love Jody, soooo much...I met him too when the Blue Jackets brought there freakin training camp here. It was so wicked being able to talk to the players whenever ya wanted. I found a Shelley shirt at value village too from when he was on the mooseheads

Check out those numbers from his last season in Halifax

Remember, this guy went to the Moosehead's open tryouts and was a walk-on

hi

His greatest moment in his career probably would be fighting Probert twice in one game.

I understand your point of view. But on the other hand, maybe Garon wouldn't be a back-up goalie anymore, on a team like, let's say, the Atlanta Thrashers... it's hard to prove you're a great goalie when you're behind an elite goalthender like Theo... but still, Garon manages to impress most times he gets a start.

Sorry man, it was a joke. Garon his having his # retired by his junior team. I like Garon a lot, he could start here in MTL tomorrow for all I care
