Has Ryder been one of the best wingers in the league, period, rookie or not? No, he hasn't.

It's Raycroft.
I think 21 goals and 55 pts. are not bad

His point is that Raycroft's been one of the best goalies in hockey.

Ryder's been good, but he's nowhere near the best.

Do you habs fans realize that only habs fans are saying ryder will beat out raycroft?

This is nothing against ryder, but raycroft has been just awesome this season and should get Vezina consideration.

Raycroft easily. Ryder has been great, but I can't see how you can't vote for Raycroft. He has been outstanding for the Bruins.

How come you don't even mention John Michael Liles and Christian Bäckman?

I think they both have been better than Joni Pitkänen this season, playing a lot more, and haven't been healthy scratched as the finn has. Liles get much ice-time, and thats good when players like Foote and Blake eat a lot of that. Bäckman is currently playing equal or more than Chris Pronger, and THATS impressive.

I think after every thing is said and done the voting will be close between Ryder and Raycroft.

I think those who think it will be a walk definately have blinders on. I mean look at the people who vote for the award and listen to what they have been saying. By all indications it's a two horse field and it is close.
