1. Hugh Jessiman won't play a regular season or playoff game as a Ranger this year;
Agreed. He might get a callup for a few games but won't make a difference. He's a huge bust and will never make an impact for us and will end up being shipped off for spare parts like Lundmark.
2. Ryan Hollweg will be demoted to Hartford and will stay there somewhere during the season;
No, he will be in and out of the lineup and scratched about 1/3 of the time, but not sent down for a significant amount of time.
3. Marcel Hossa will score 25 goals during regular season and 6 in playoffs;
Doubt he'll score that many goals. I could see between 18-22 but I don't think he'll hit 25...I hope I'm wrong about this one.
4. Pittsburg will win the President's trophy;
Not a chance in hell, their defense isn't nearly good enough and neither is Fleury yet.
5. Lundqvist will win Vezina trophy;
No, he'll have another good year, but not good enough. Luongo will win it this year.
6. Jaromír Jágr will score 50+ goals;
No, he'll have between 35-45 with a lot of assists, but I think he'll miss a decent amount of games due to injury.
7. Kasparaitis will be traded to Buffalo for 6th round pick in 2009;
No, he'll toil in the minors or be called up for some of the games but I don't think he'll be traded, and if he is, I doubt it'll be to Buffalo.
8. Bourett will have 70+ points in Harford;
No again, I don't think he'll have this many points, but I'd love to be wrong about it.
9. NJ will struggle but will make the playoffs on 8th seed;
They'll struggle but will come in higher than 8. I say they'll either get between 5 and 7. Their offense is horrible, but they still have Marty and a system that works for them.
10. Marek Malík will score a shootout goal.
No chance in hell that will ever happen again haha.
