I'm quite sure he injured it right before the Downie hit. Watch the replay, Jones is covering McAmmond before he goes behind the net, then BAM! Jones forgets that there's a net there.

She has a history of being extra-ordinarily gorgeous. Beyond that...like I said, bite me.

Any chance of
Hartnell - Richards - Carter?
Of course line 3 and 4 would look like crap, but this could be Richard's chance to prove that he is a top 6 forward, and maybe a chance to move Carter to wing.

No. A couple of weeks is what I read. Umberger is having surgery (Thursday) so a timetable will probably be officially set after that.

As far as Upshall and when his injury happened:

http://flyers.nhl.com/team/app?artic...e&service=page

Where did Upshall get hit?
“He took a pass late in the game there and (Christoph) Schubert stepped on him. You can see in the video right away that he kind of winced and kind of held his arm and when he came off (the ice) he was in pain.”

LOL and you say Ottawa fans are bad....

I like the completely unfounded slash claims with Upshall..despite contradictions by even your own fans saying that it happened in a collision.

This really sucks, hardcore style.

And here I was thinking "Pfft what are we going to do with this Hartnell/Lupul/Upshall situation". I guess i'll appreciate it more now.

ahahaha, how? Because we said Nitty slashed them during practice trying to avoid Gauthier? or that the trainer ****ed up and broke our players wrists during warm ups? Or that Scarlett is the root of the problem and we should replace her with tubgirl? Yeah, we REALLLYYY are acting like babies here....

Sens - player gets concussed...
Flyers - We lose 3 players for 2 weeks or more...

Difference? We are laughing about it, while the Sens fans are trying to issue a Grand Declaration of War or something, i dont know.

I think Jones' injury is beneficial to the team.

Downie has officially made the team now that Umberger is out. Dowd also.
I would agree with this if it were muscle and ligament issues which have to do with strength, conditioning and flexibility but there is only so much you can do to avoid broken bones.

Although I wish he would get fired simply for being an idiot (ice on groins)

Downies hit was amazing, he's just a fierce guy who took someone out. I think hocley more and more is becoming like 2 hand touch football.
Downie's hit was amazing to watch, but I definitely think something needs to be done as far as intentional hits to the head and he shouldnt be leaving his feet. If he went flying into someone at full speed but came shoulder to shoulder or chest then fine. The hits directly to the head are getting ridiculous though.

When it happens to Crosby maybe the NHL will do something about it.......

Oh wait, they are too busy worried about the uniforms looking prettier and expanding into Europe, what was I thinking??

Agreed, but the fact the thought even entered their mind when they have 4-5 teams where they shouldnt already just pisses me off

I say take Phoenix, Nashville, Atlanta and Florida and move them to Canada and maybe try one in Vegas but that is a discussion for a different thread....

yeah the bad luck with some of these injuries is a bid ridiculous.
I am not going to miss Randy Jones, but some of the other injures are going to hurt. Hopefully Lupul is allright coming back next week. Upshall's injury really sucks because it would have been fun to see what he could do here when given the chance to play over a full season.
