On a good note Perron looks awesome. He's not getting alot of ice time but he makes you notice him every shift. He just has such good hands, he wins battles along the boards with his stick. wait fight.

Erik made one mistake that cost a goal. Those are the ones you're going to see once and awhile. The announcer said something along the lines of "Erik Johnson got caught flatfooted, they don't have Marian Gaborik and Pavol Demitra in the NCAA"

i like manny and i'm not looking to replace him based on preseason but someone should remind JD that cujo is still out there. yeah yeah. unrealistic i know. but c'mon. a guy can dream can't he?
He realy does. He physically get pushed around a little bit but not so much that it concerns me. We all know his hands are great, but i realy didn't think that would help him around the boards. It does. The best thing ive learned about him is his passing and on ice vission. He puts himself in good postion to revieve passes. I keep thinking hes going to shoot every time but instead he make smart plays. I wasn't all for letting him make the team this year. But ive had a change of heart. I still think waiting a year would be best, but this kid could play here now. This kid IS something special.
Better knock that rust off in a hurry. I hope he didn't lose too much weight this summer.....he wasn't exactly huge to begin with.
