So much for finishing the road trip on a strong note.

Minnesota 2-0 Ottawa

Minnesota - 29th in the league on the powerplay

Minnesota - 2 powerplay goals in under 10 minutes.

Even better - or is that worse? - shots on goal at the time were 7-4, in favour of Ottawa.

To make the night complete, all we need is for Daigle to score.

Lalime: 5/7

To answer your question, I'll take option #3, which involves a bottle of vodka, a miniature Lalime doll, and lots of needles.

Muckler must have alot of faith in Prusek [with Emery] at handling a heavy playoff workload, its the only thing that explains him not getting another goaltender at the deadline.

DO SOMETHING!

Seriously, they have got to wake up and wake up soon (like on Thursday, against Colorado - good luck). I'm just losing hope that that will happen at all this year.

What has happened to the Senators? They are slumping right now and cannot beat anyone... Bad loss tonight for LaLime and the Sens... The Eastern Conference is really getting tight between the 1st and 6th seeds...

Its so true.. poor Lalime. What happened to him this year? I'm a big Sens supporter (except when they play the habs..) and it makes me very nervous to see Lalime let in 5 goals on 22 shots. Prusek has played well this season... but I don't think he's quite ready to carry the sens through the playoffs.. and from what I've seen of Lalime this season, neither is he. But we'll see.. maybe Lalime will turn it around come playoff time.. maybe his experience in the playoffs will give him a little edge over other teams' goalies (Theo, Raycroft, Dipietro, Esche...).
