Pronger suspended 1 game for kicking

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/artic...316_161112_624

I kind of wished that he would have gotten suspended for another game since either team that gets a point or 2 will hurt the Flames but oh well. Way to go Nimenen!

Didn't Havlat get suspended two games for the same thing?

The Blues are out of the race, anyway. This just shows frustration by the big idiot. I hope the League keeps track of his offenses, cause the next one should be good for 4 games.

This crap HAS to stop now.

I was being just little sarcastic, implying that they were fading so fast they wouldn't make it. I know they CAN mathmatically still get in, but hope is slipping away.

Maybe because Havlat's a repeat offender? I'm guessing here...

Probably because Havlat kicked Cairns in the groin compared to a foot. That could be it

The Lecavalier kick to Kasparitis might be a comparable incident and he got 1 game, so I see why Pronger got 1 game as well.

Pronger is one of the dumbest players in the league. He doesn't even think when he's out there. I've seen him take penalties that have cost his team the game, now this.

I still think they make it over LA. LA just has a brutal schedule.

That's terrible timing for STL. Pronger should know better than that..

On that note, Ville Niemenen got 11 stitches due to Pronger's kick.

Gotta love the fact that TSN has no idea which Flames player it was

I said Pronger is one of the dumbest players. People only read what they want to read, it seems.

btw, I never said anything about Bertuzzi, so why bring him into it? He's up there with the dumbest of them, we all know that.
