Who would you rather have as a starter ?!?!?

Who would you rather have as a starter Johan Hedberg or Dan Cloutier . I would have either but I give the slight edge to Cloutier for making spectacular saves sometimes when games are huge and the stakes are high and he a is a great regular season goalie and he is getting better and better in the playoffs . If I was the canucks I would not let this guy go he will be a top 10 goalie in the league someday once he becomes a guy who can play in the playoffs which I think is sooner than everyone expects . Hedberg a great puck handling goalie he has the talent to make great saves ex) against demitra on a penatly shot this year . He is a proven playoff goalie taking a average pittsburg team to the eastern conference finals . What I ask you is who would you have as a starter ? I would have Cloutier because he can make SPECTACULAR saves look easy and he is improving every year .

Cloutier's the best goalie in the league when he's got his mind in the right place. Too bad for Vancouver, that's not very often, and I'll flip a coin to see who I vote for.

I'm still looking for an option I'd want but all I see for options are Cloutier and Hedberg

Clouts.

Hedberg makes me so nervous when he steps out of his crease to play the puck every 30 seconds.

I'll admit Cloutier is a very good goaltender when he is on but to claim he is the best in the league is stretching it quite a bit..

Sorry Cloutier on his best day doesn't even match up with what Theodore, Brodeur, Belfour, and Luongo bring everyday. These goalies on their best days, which is 90% of the time, are 10x's the goalies Dan will ever be.

I tell ya, Cloutier's only goaltending problem is his mental game. That and his rebounds ...and his puck handling

Cloutier can be a much better goalie. The only thing Hedberg has over Cloutier is his puckhandling skills and.. consistancy.. But Cloutier is still young and has a good chance this season to make something.

I guess his mind has never been in the right place because Cloutier has NEVER been even close to the top goalie in the NHL. NEVER !!

Where do these homers come from ??
