Saturday's game vs Dallas

Hey, I'll be at the Stars @ Preds game on Saturday and was just wanting to know if theres any useful tips that I should know about when coming to the Nashville area for the first time.

Thanks and good luck this season!

just be aware, that the yelling of "stars" in the middle of the singing of the national anthem is grounds to be thrown out of the arena

Guess I'll only see the national anthem then.

Unless the walkup crowd is huge, don't plan on sitting beside anyone.

I expect their to be some carryover from Tootoo's sucker-punch. Should be a fun game to watch.

Interesting...

"Stars captain Mike Modano is back again and has history in his sights this season. Modano, who was born in Livonia, Michigan, enters the 2007-08 season just seven points away from establishing a new NHL record for points by a U.S.-born player. Phil Housley holds the mark with 1,232 points."

Is it possible that the delay in the negotiations between the Preds and the city of Nashville are because the city and the Preds have been too busy planning the parade route through downtown in case Modano gets a few points on Friday, then breaks the record in Nashville on Saturday? I know they’ve bought the bouquet of flowers, they’ve bought the chocolate, they have prepared the musical tribute and video montage, bought plane tickets for his family, and have arranged for George Bush to make his congratulatory phone call, but there are a lot of logistics involved with a parade route.

Funny how things happen in sports sometimes…

I thought the payback was the whipping they gave the preds in the 3/31 rematch. I guess there can still be some bad blood. It's too bad they didn't play in the preseason.
