Alot of good lists. I personally dont like:

-Colin White
-Derian Hatcher
-Andy Sutton
-Chris Simon
-Donald Braehear
-Darcy Tucker
-Brodeur
-Jansen
Im shocked to see no one one listed Donald Brashear

I would hate Andy Sutton a lot more if he was actually good on defense.

Active: Chris Simon.

Hands down, until his career is over, and even then we should get some kind of sign just like Potvin and get a 'Simon Sucks' chant going every game until forever.

He definitely is and it's why i hate this guy too. Sure, he's a great player, but diving is something that gets under my skin even more than that annoying ass kid on those Verizon commercials.

This is also why I can't jump on the Avery bandwagon like a lot of folks here. I love the fieriness and grit and happy he's a Ranger, but the diving gets no respect from me.

see! i knew i wasnt the only one!

Throw a Pens fan into the Cole hate stew. I've never seen anything more hypocritical than when he said he'd never forgive Orpik for the cheapshot that broke his neck, when his first game back from that injury in the Finals, he did the exact same thing to someone on the Oilers, hit him from behind right into the boards. If that's the way you want to play the game, fine, it's your prerogative, but don't make someone out to be a villian for doing the exact same thing you do almost every game, you whining punk.

The original chant? It's from a team called Hapoel Tel Aviv, and writing it using English letters it looks like this:

"Kol ha olam kulo, sone et Hapoel! sone et Hapoel! sone et Hapoel! kol ha olam kulo, sone et Hapoel! ve rak ani ohev!"

I'm not sure if I'll be able to find you an actual clip of it, pretty tough when it comes to specific chants from Israeli football.

i dislike Brodeur, Poti and Malik. I guess I'll add Simon to that now.

only player i have ever truly hated is Matt Johnson.

awesome! it reminds of that song 'Very Narrow Bridge', same beginning i guess. does it parody/play off of that song? it's so cool how i know now what the first part means just from being there for a little while this summer.

#1 for me has always been Marty Brodeur. But after the shenanigans of last season, I think Simon has moved to the top of the list. And unlike many of you, I hated him as a Ranger as well.

The rest of my list includes Colin White, Brendan Witt, and DP.

Why would Downie fight Orr? He should fight guys like Hollweg - though I doubt that gutless puke would go.

That is precisely the song it's taken from.

It plays of it rather than parody it, the song in its original form is a song of hope, so they change it into a song of support for the team.

There is a Ranger that you love who fits the profile that you hate much more than Cole does.

If/When Avery leaves he will be at the top of all of these lists. Until then he will be loved even though he is dirty and dives more than any other player, including Cole.

I tolerate him because he is a Ranger who contributed last year except for the debacle against Buffalo when he was an utter joke.

Coming back from that injury showed Cole to be one of the toughest SOB's around and I would much prefer him as a Ranger to Avery.

No, i never hated sean avery. he annoyed me with his antics, he still annoys me with his antics, but i never disrespected the way he plays.

Avery is an agitator, that is his game, Cole tries to play like a skill player, but does so in such a schmucky way.

I hate him, dont even bother trying to argue this point with me, theres nothing that can be said that will change my mind on him.

I

HATE

ERIK

COLE

.

If no one has said this, Im shocked.

Sydney Crosby. He is always running his mouth, so full of himself, thinks he is tough. Simply put in the Avery Dictionary, a whiner.

Others I despise:
Top5 I cant stand

DiPietro
Brodeur
Witt
Jarkko Ruutu
Kovalchuk
