Section South @ MSG?

Hey guys,

I was just checking ticketmaster for tickets tomorrow and Section South, Row A came up. What the hell is section South? I've never heard of such a thing.

A little help?

I think that's the ~$1000/ticket VIP section that's right at the glass near center ice.

I think it's actually the south press box. That's what the Garden's FAQ page would have me believe.

It may also be the seats where the goal judge used to sit, directly behind the net, first row. The never had those seats before so maybe they named it "south section"

The price for this is $65 plus $10 TM charges. so yea, the press box seems likely for that.

Can't be. The goal judge boxes were on the east and west ends. Plus, those are rinkside seats, and would go for ~$200/ticket.

From the MSG FAQ:
Quote:
South Seating

The South Press Box is generally reserved for working media during sporting events. For concerts, however, we have the opportunity to sell this seat location. The South Press Box is located between the 300 and 400 Level seating areas in the Arena. The South Press Box consists of one row of folding chairs that is set up in this location.

I'd be shocked if any media types returned their press passes..... but then again.... it is going up against the Yankees game. But still....

the seats are very cool, they have a table for food and drinks and are dead center ice with plenty of leg room as they aren't standard seats but rather the purple foldup types.

I have season tickets in Sec 311 and the press boxex are right behind me. I remember a couple of times last year that regular fans were sitiing in them. Really nice seats and you also get a little shelf as well

Sorry mods for posting this here, but I hope it's OK. I have two seats for sale in this section for the game tomorrow. PM or email me an offer, if interested.
