Parise or Bochenski. No one else stands a chance.

It seems like a wide open field this year more than any other in recent history. I'm inclined to agree with Ryan Lambert that it will be Parise or Bochenski. As a Maine fan it pains me to say I like Saviano's play alot and i'm all for the eastern players, but the final 3 will all be from the west Parise,Bochenski, and Lessard.

I wouldn't count out Yann Danis so soon. He's had an excellent year.

What I don't get is how Barret Ehgoetz didn't make the top 10. He matched Bochenski's points total and has been absolutely phenomenal for Niagara this season. He set up Joe Tallari's GWG that vaulted the Purple Eagles to the Frozen Four Tourney with the first automatic bid in the CHA title game last Sunday.

danis won't win because he wasn't even the goalie with the best stats in the country.

and ehgoetz didn't make it because his team stinks, and getting 50+ points against CHA teams is easierthan getting 50+ against the WCHA.

Jimmy Howard had the best stats, but he alone didn't carry Maine. Danis carried Brown and still put up excellent stats. I'm not knocking Howard or Doyle because I love 'em both, but it's hard to argue what Danis has done at Brown this season.

If Niagara stunk, they wouldn't have won the CHA. Many picked BSU to win the CHA and while they finished 1st in the CHA after the regular season, they didn't get CHA's automatic bid. Furthermore, if you look at who Niagara's played this season, they played some tough non-conference opponents, against some of whom they did quite well. They beat UNH, UML, WMU, Yale, and tied FSU.

Furthermore, you're forgetting that Tallari did get nominated last season.
