I just turned it off. I'm going to lose it if I watch anymore and have to see him in that jersey, it still hurts.

If he had to go, he had to go to another Original Six team. Out of the Six, I like him in a Leafs jersey.

1. He looks wrong in any color other than blue.
2. We share many things on common with Leafs fans.
3. He's got a very legit shot at another Cup. If he can keep doing what he's doing now, he's got a shot at another Norris.

Damn, I love the style of play in these games. Just hard-nose, tough, rugged hockey. A North American style of play with a nice mix of European skill. If I could model the Rangers I would use the Flyers as a paradigm for one-ice play, and the 'Lanche for my entire developmental system. Of course subtract the playoff chocking of the orange and black as well

There's an easier way to get the whole thing: model 'em after the Devils. Same style of play; good development; no choking.

Yea but I really hate their trap. Not as much offense as Philly, and they don't have the rugged enforcer that Brash is.

BTW- someone has got to cut Handzus' hair

Hitchcock coaches the same trap, and ask the Pens about the Devils' offense.

I'll always take the championships over a few more goals/season, especially because once the playoffs start both the Flyers and the Devils will be equally deadly to watch.

Hitchcock and his stupid systems. I turned the game off, the Flyers are boring.

I was flipping between the Rags game and Leetch's game. I tuned in just as he launched that rocket just inside the blue line. Considering the mental anguish Jackass subjected him to, this guy is on fire. I hope he sticks it to Jackass by helping break another Cup curse.

Winning is NEVER boring. I would have thought that after the last 7 years, more Ranger fans would think so.

---Exactly. Notice how the only people you hear complain about boring systems are those whose teams lose to opponents who employ such systems successfully. It's true of the fans (Detroit played a pretty strict defensive system under Bowman, ever recall hearing a complaint from a Wings fan about how boring any of their three Cup runs were?), and it's even true of the players (see, e.g., Mike Modano, who vigorously defended Hitchcock's system from charges of boredom when he played under it, but then bellyached about Babcock's system after the Ducks sent him to the golf courses last spring.)
