There's no way that fight was a draw. Boogaard won.

When a 6 foot old man holds his own against a 6'9 monster...its a draw.

That was Schultz's third fight in the NHL...

And how is that Getzlafs fault? BTW, Boogard's nose seems to be a little messed up. Tough luck.

Both players dropped the gloves, and Getzlaf destroyed him. Period. If you can't fight, don't drop the gloves.

no one mentioned boogard's hit from behind on bertuzzi that sent him to the locker room.

i don't want to see a parros vs boogard fight... i like parros and i fear for his pretty face. On the other hand, I also fear for the knees of the anaheim players with boogard trying to injure people.

I'd pay good money for a parros vs gaborik fight though.

Minnesota fans please post your fight comments on your own board or at the NHL board.

There is no point in coming on here to argue about the Boogaard-May or Getzlaf-Schultz fights.

Posts have been deleted. Lets focus on the game.

I haven't seen a replay of the hit, so I can't really comment on it. I'll be the first to say that Boogard is a very questionable player, though you'll never hear Wild fans say that. From their perspective, you'd think he was a choir boy.

Fights are part of the game, McDonald19-you are going overboard, as no one has been disrespectful.

I'm out of here.

Edit: Post #26 shows you commenting on a fight, or am I mistaken?

Gaborik almost got in a fight with Nick Boynton yesterday.

I have more respect for May after that fight.

Good to see May stand up to Boogaard and take him on. It was a pretty close fight too.

Also good to see Schultz and Getzlaf go at it.. Im sure this isn't the last of the fisticuffs tonight. They interviewed George Parros in the first intermission and he basically admitted that he will be looking for Boogaard.

No wonder that idiot who talked about the size comparisons deleted his post, considering he was waaaay off. Getz is 6'3" and around 215 lbs, not 6'5" and 240. Also, Schultz is listed as 6'1" on the Wild website. So, rather than a difference of 5 inches and 40 lbs., it's more like 2 inches and 15 lbs. Whereas Boogaard is 6'7" and 258 lbs., and Brady May is 6'1" and 218 lbs. That's a difference of 6 inches and 40 lbs.

It was heading in that direction. Part of the moderators job is to keep fires from happening..not just putting fires out once they have started.

Anyone know why Hnidy has played all 7 games so far?

Kondratiev meanwhile has played only once.

I can only assume it's something Carlyle sees in practice. Kondratiev has good offensive upside, but I really wasn't impressed with his decisions in the defensive zone during the preseason.

parros takes boogard down in fight. not the biggest hits, but gave him a few stiff jabs to the face and a couple glancing hits ot the side of a helmetless boogard

on a side note, moen's goina beat someone up before this game is over.

no sign of bert being back on the ice. not good. Ryan time perhaps.

Good scrap between Parros and Boogaard.

All I can say is that George did a good job of policing the situation.
