I saw a Huet, KOivu, Ryder set at Wal-mart for about 30 bucks I believe.

They also had the mini double packs for 10-15 bucks.

I just bought a mini "Habs" OC Chopper at Zellers for 12$, it's great!!

Did you notice that the Koivu figure in the 3 pack is not wearing a visor? Of all the ironic mistakes that Mcfarlane could have made......

I've been collecting Sportspicks for a while, I'm also excited about this one. I just wish they didn't discontinue the nets for the goalies.

do you have a pic of the Theo one? I never saw it.

when does the Huet one come out? Will probably go as fast as the Abby (why did they make him?)/Ryder and Saku pack.

Could I remove the puck in his golve? Between his legs would be much funnier! And where can I buy those?

That looks top quality. Should I start collecting these? They seem like my kind of style.

I noticed the Huet figure a couple of weeks ago when i went on Mcfarlane's website.

You can see more pictures here:

http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=3319

The figure will come out in November. As well Guy Lafleur has been out for a couple of weeks now...

Wonder what's holding things up in terms of a Maurice Richard figure?

They've been around for a while, lots of great figures of NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. They do a couple hockey series a year including a Legend series. I have about 150 of them, mostly hockey. They can be found at Toys R Us, Walmart, and other stores. If you want to get into collecting them try eBay, you can find some great deals.

Huet is amazingly good looking. Lafleur is shlit if you ask. Doesn't have the Lafleur look, just his 76 hairdo. Lafleur should have come in his legendary snap shot stance.

Most figures are really great, but some of them don't look anything like the player. I agree with you on the Lafleur.

I have most Montreal ones but i don't consider myself a collector...i open them up as soon as i get them and put them on display....I don't have the Patrick Roy one and cannot get myself to fork out the money it goes for because i'm just going to open it up when i get it

They're usually around $10 and can be found at Toys R Us, Walmarts, and other hobby/collectible stores. I'm not sure where the best place in Canada is to find them. You could also go to www.spawn.com and order them. eBay is also a great place to find them, just search for 'NHL McFarlane' and a ton of them will be there. If you have any other questions or need help let me know.

just go to the toys section at walmart...

if you want older figures your going to have to go to a comic book store or some other specialized store...

either that or as a previous poster mentioned...ebay or some other auction service online

Wow, great. I bet those Theo and Aebi figurines are worth thousands.

No, but I've seen some of the Roy figures go for hundreds. They make what are called 'chase' figures, which are harder to find and are some variation of the original figure such as different jersey or retro team, etc. I've seen a 'snowy' version of a Tom Brady fig go for a couple of thousand. I think the Aebi figure will get you about a nice shiny nickel right now.
